At La Verrière, your host, Xavier upholds the local tradition of beekeeping, tending to the hives, making honey and happily sharing his enthusiasm on the topic with any guest who wishes to learn the art of beekeeping, or wishes to savour the honey. In its understated elegance - muted colours of mustard, red and green - the “Bee Room” is a subtle reminder that there’s always work to be done and everyone has their part to play. The decorative accessories in the room include an authentic antique beehive and its windows open onto the Medieval herb garden. The bathroom has separate sinks, a bathtub and shower combination, and hand-drawn custom bee designs on the tiling.
